Welcome to Vision Education On-Line Seminars

Through our experience as teachers and students we have found that on-line seminars can be not only a convenient but also very effective instructional method. Here is how we have solved some common problems with on-line course delivery.
  • Problem: Students “zone out” during the presentation and have difficulty retaining the information.
    • Solution: Our seminars interrupt the presentation every 15 to 25 minutes or after difficult material with “Pause and Reflect” quizzes. These ungraded quizzes encourage the student to review and apply information that was just presented.
    • Solution: We do not use videotaped lectures and presentations may be self-paced. Students may stop and review material at any time, and quickly select previous slides from a list or even skip forward quickly through familiar material.
  • Problem: Students who take on-line courses cannot review printed materials later when they are trying to implement the newly learned information.
    • Solution: We provide written summaries of the presentations where students may take notes during the presentation.
  • Problem: The Student has difficulty implementing the newly learned information.
    • Solution: We provide written “getting started materials”, cue cards for the therapist to use, handbooks with detailed procedural instructions, handouts for the patients, and data entry forms that guide the reasoning process as well as specific information as to where to obtain required materials.

Guarantee for on-line courses

The student may obtain a FULL refund for any reason within 30 days of registration, before any certification tests have been completed. The only requirement is that a course evaluation be completed. The student may review any or all of the published presentations during the 30 day review period without any obligation. If, however, a course test is completed, a refund is no longer possible. This applies to individual registration only.

If within 90 days of course registration, a course is cancelled or becomes unavailable for more than 7 days before it is completed, the participant may obtain a full refund. A student has up to one year to complete a course but cannot obtain a refund after 90 days. This applies to individual or group registration.
